A refurbishment and extension to a luxury family house for a private client. The project includes complete refurb of the existing and adding new parts to the house. All in high standard.
Scope of works include: project management, procurement and budget and time table monitoring.
House due to be delivered to client early 2004.


Parkcity Hotel
Kensington, London

In collaboration with SHH Architects, a conversion of an old budget hotel to a modern, luxury 4 star hotel.
Scope of services includes leading the design team on behalf of the architects, acting as contract administrator and assisting the client in procuring the finished product.
Project due completion end of summer 2004.


The Lexham, serviced apartments
Kensington, London

In collaboration with SHH Architects.
External decoration and lifts replacement, contract administration.
Scope includes: management on behalf of the client and contract administration.
Due completion end 2004





2002 - 2003

The Old Saatchi Gallery Building
London, SW8

The old Saatchi gallery building was converted into luxury function halls. OakTree Consultants Ltd. provided management services to Titchfield Construction, the contractor that executed the work.

This included an intensive co-ordination process with the client, programming, managing and supervising the works and the contractor’s personnel. The tasks also comprised hand over to the client and any snagging or variations involved.

Project completed successfully. Discussions are now taking place regarding future involvement in a second development with the same client.

2000 - 2002

Victoria Park Plaza Hotel
Wilton road, London SW1

A 288 room, 4 plus star rated hotel with luxury residential flats located in central London. Includes restaurants, banqueting and syndicate facilities of the highest standard.

Responsibilities included:

  • Assisting the projects director with control over budgets and programme.

  • Co-managing the site with the construction manager with sole responsibility to the interior reporting directly to the owner.

  • Design procurement, co-ordination and adaptation to the project’s requirements.

  • Establishing an in-house design office responsible for interior design tasks.

  • Monitoring tender process.

  • Negotiating with sub-contractors and suppliers. Closing deals.

  • Handing over the hotel to the operator. Handling snagging.

Sherlock Holmes Hotel

Refurbishment of the old Sherlock Holmes Hotel to a 120 rooms boutique hotel.

Responsibilities included:

  • Design tasks.
  • Assistance to the project team in various matters.

1999 – 2000

The British Museum Great Court Project

OakTree Consultants provided management services to Marzorati Ronchetti a specialist metal works contractor that was awarded the special stainless steel objects in The British Museum Great Court Project.

The objects included the display totems, reception desks, library front desks and others.

The scope of responsibilities included design and site co-ordination, site supervision and final handing over.

His involvement included the following roles:

  • The project manager.

  • Co-ordinating works, design and final completion.

Working in direct co-ordination with the architect’s team (Norman Foster Associates) and in complience with the project’s strict requirements and level of performance.


OakTree Consultants helped Marzorati Ronchetti to establish their site operations in the UK.

1996 – 1999

Bernard Shaw Park Plaza Hotel
Euston Road, London, NW1

An adaptation of a 60’s office block structure to a 310 rooms, 4 star plus rated hotel. Comprising restaurant, gym, banqueting and syndicate facilities.
The project also included a complete refurbishment and modernization of the old 500 seat Bernard Shaw Theatre. The theatre was adapted to cater for conference facilities as well as normal theatre performances.

Eitan Alon moved his activities to the UK as result of his involvement in this project. As project director and the owner’s representative, he was totally responsible for the project.

Tasks included:

  • Establishing the head office’s branch in the UK.

  • Establishing and leading a team of local construction managers and designers.

  • Negotiating and finalising agreements with contractors and suppliers.

  • Responsibility for the budget and programme. Reporting directly to the owner and the chain’s president.

  • Handing over the hotel to the operator.

  • Snagging

A massive office, retail park development at the rapidly growing sea side town of Herzlia.

Eitan Alon was the owners representative with responsibilities for the co-ordination and design completion service related to the prospective clients. This included negotiation, design adaptation and handing over the areas to the tenants.

Peri's Health Club
Binyanei Hauma International Conference Centre,
Jerusalem, Israel

A state-of-the-art, 16,000 sqft health club, gym and spa located within the conference centre complex. The best health club in Jerusalem targeting Jerusalem's high society and international visitors.

Eitan had total design responsibility for all the areas of the club including daily site supervision of the works. Working in tight collaboration with the owner, Mr Pery, a unique and special place was created.

The Tel Aviv Performing Arts Centre
Tel Aviv, Israel

The Israeli opera's new home in Tel aviv.
A world class, state of the art performance arts centre. Designed and equipped to cater for a wide range of performances. Comprising a 1600 seats auditorium, fantastic front of house foyer areas and supporting back of house facilities.

Eitan Alon was the project management architect and assistant to the project director. He was responsible to co-ordinate an international team of first class designers ( J. Rechter, Ron Arad, Neville broody, Ingo Maurer) and had sole responsibility for the front of the house areas. Eitan co-ordinated the different designers with the local and international sub-contractors. His responsibilities also included dealing with public budgets and attending to strict client requirements All this within an unforgiving programme environment.

A luxury " talk of the town" residential development built opposite the old city's walls. Designed by the architect Moshe Safdie and developed by Ladbrokes plc.

Eitan was the assistant to the project manager and had sole responsibility for the interior design co-ordination, finalisation and handing over to the clients.
